Global Warming Affects MLB
April 7, 2007  |  by Jon Haarstad  |  General

Did I say “Global Warming”? My bad. Utilizing anectodal stories with little basis in factual information (5% truth = 100% irrefutable “the-sky-is-falling” truth by today’s standards) seems to be the norm these days so I’m going to go out on a limb and calling for the new “Panic of the Day”. The earth is COOLING! Oh my!

Snow in April?! What?! That’s right folks – SNOW (you know, that frozen white stuff) has been wreaking havoc in Cleveland and much of the Plains and the East of the US. I even read reports of snow in Texas! What!!! How can it be?! I thought we were all slowly roasting alive in the world.

“What to do?! What to do?! The sky is falling…the sky is falling!!!” (or maybe not)

On a lighter, non tongue-in-cheek note – I’m glad baseball is back. Go Mariners!
