I am a self-confessing RSS (”Real Simple Syndication”) junkie and there are some great tools available to make the management of these great news sources easier and easier. One great site I recently found and love is netvibes [ www.netvibes.com ]. It’s a fully customizable (AJAX-powered for those that know…or care) web interface that makes it easy to create your own unique news-manager portal. Other such sites include Google News Reader and on the software-side, NetNewsWire.

What makes Netvibes different? I like how they allow you to easily manage all your news-content, giving you automatically updated feeds from as many feeds as you like. Using their system, I’ve cut down drastically in the time it takes to stay on top of the latest news…something that comes in handy when I’m being my usual curious self.
