I found this article from WiseBread.com to be especially insightful considering the time (tax-season) and the ever-present temptation to buy things we can’t afford. This is a good list of not just the bad behaviors, but methods to avoid the pitfalls.

Did I say "Global Warming"? My bad. Utilizing anectodal stories with little basis in factual information (5% truth = 100% irrefutable "the-sky-is-falling" truth by today's standards) seems to be the norm these days so I'm going to go out on a limb and calling for the new "Panic of the Day". The earth is COOLING! Oh my! Snow in April?! What?! That's right folks - SNOW (you know, that frozen white stuff) has been wreaking havoc in Cleveland and much of the Plains and the East of the US. It’s not often that I get sucked into a YouTube video but this one captured my attention. This is a speech given at the Heritage Foundation and his commentary on the current political climate and the current trends in Liberalism are…well, you have to watch.
I’d be curious to get some feedback on this. The one rule? You have to watch the WHOLE thing. I won’t post ignorant comments from folks who obviously haven’t watched it (trust me, if you watch the whole thing – you’ll know exactly how any sane person would NOT comment).

I’ll withhold my full commentary on the entire matter (oh, do I ever have a LOT to say but for various reasons I’ve chosen not to engage this at this time) but I found this recent Gallup announcement intriguing for both parties as everyone is jockeying for position.
