So, I'm sitting here...just completed some website updates - and felt the urge to sip some good ol' black tar - aka "coffee". What was I thinking. On top of that, I've been groovin' (seriously..."groovin") to some techno/dance music. Oh my. With that said - what better activity than to blog. I finished reading the most over-hyped book of fiction EVER - The DaVinci Code. Entertaining? Yeah, a little. Substantive? Hardly. I found myself laughing out loud at frequent dialogue that wasn't meant to be humorous. It was obvious a lot of the "historical" references were nothing but a pile of steaming smelly-stuff when the writer felt the need to include an over-abundance of "oh, all historians know this is true"-esque statements as if reinforcing bogus information with "duh" comments would make the historical references more believable. Paa-lease! Overall? I'd give it...

I received this e-mail from my good friend Ron Cochran regarding someone I know of. This is a call out for prayer for this family in their time of need.

Please be in prayer for my good friends, Phil & Cheryl. Phil has produced video projects for Portland Christian Center for many years. Phil & Cheryl?s son, Douglas (7 years old) was killed last night at about 9PM. He was run over by a neighbor backing out of a driveway. Phil was in Columbus Ohio on a video shoot when it happened.

Take a moment right now and lift this family up in prayer.
